Made-in-Aveyron.com is a young .com company launched in the year 2000 by 6 persons from Aveyron (2), Lozère (2), Lyon (1) and Norway (1) with the support of many partners. Our goal is to promote and sell online gastronomy products from Aveyron.

1- Our goals

We first would like you to enjoy your visit on our sites. These sites will introduce you to Aveyron gastronomy specialties and will propose you ideas to prepare your next week end or holidays in Aveyron.

In developing these sites, we also want to help the people making these products to better promote their know-how and develop their sales in France and abroad.

In a word, we would like to create and develop links between producers living in the very heart of France and their new clients who may live in another country or even continent.

We do believe this will participate to the development and the renewal of villages from Aveyron.

The arrival of newcomers in old and declining villages is always the beginning of a new story. We would like to accompany these new stories... with you !

2- Date of birth

Our company has been launched in the year 2000. We think that the big changes that occured in the figures of our calendars, will draw some other changes at different scales.

Our ambition is to play a role in these announced changes, with you !

3- Place of birth

Made-in-Aveyron.com has been launched from La Canourgue, a small village on the border between Lozere and Aveyron. Aveyron and Lozere, such as Cantal, Gers, Creuse or Dordogne, are among those emblematic areas in France that have a special place in the heart of French people.

These locations are rural areas. For this reason, some people think that they are bound to stay away from the rising new technology society.

We would like to show that tradition and modernity are not opposite ideas. We think that these areas and their values have a role to play in tomorrow's world. This role depends also on you...
