Preparation : the mirabelle plums are gathered at the end of august, on the sunny hillsides of the French "Gorges du Tarn". This alcohol is made by non industrial means by distillation after a period of maceration. Nine kilos of mirabelle plums are necessary to obtain one litre of this alcohol. Tasting : the mirabelle plum alcohol is consumed as a digestive. It becomes better along with time and gains well-marked flavours. During the tasting, in preference in small adapted glasses, you can warm the alcohol up by holding it in the hollow of your hand.
