Spit cakes making

Our farm is located in the charming village of Blayac, a few miles away from Severac Le Château. Our main activity is the breeding of ewes. Roquefort village is not far...

I also make spit cakes that I sell on local markets and on this site. My recipe is rather simple : eggs, butter, flour, sugar and sometimes rum and vanilia extracts. Most of the time, I use the eggs and the butter produced in the farm or in the neighbouring farms. All the art of making a good spit cake lies in the way of turning the spit. Not too fast and not too slow. When you go at the right speed, you will get these nice and tasty crust.
